Felicity and Paul/ Real Wedding/ Winter River Wedding
As wedding planners, we’re as passionate about digging into the details, curating a wonderful team of professionals, and piecing together design plans as we are about revealing the results to our couples on the day of their celebrations. As happy as they are to work closely with us for sometimes over a year, we know our couples are counting down until they can see how their vision has been turned into reality. For Felicity and Paul, that meant soaking in every detail and every moment of their glamorous winter soiree at the Florida Yacht Club.
Our favorite way to plan a wedding is to look at each venue as a blank canvas we can uniquely transform. The Florida Yacht Club offers couples an incredible setting with gorgeous views for pictures and an interior ballroom perfect for receptions. The sky-high ceilings provide plenty of depth, and the rich color palette of ivory mixed with wooden textures offers a fabulous base for glamour, not to mention tall centerpieces.
Felicity and Paul wanted to embrace everything the Florida Yacht Club had to offer, so we curated a palette of navy, white, and silver for their January wedding. We also wanted to add to the wood in the space by adding additional wooden textures of our own. The couple and their guests dined on a menu created by the Florida Yacht Club culinary team, and our favorite feature, the tall white floral centerpieces designed by Parker’s Events, caught everyone’s eye while they were seated at their tables.
In between dance sets by McGee Entertainment, Felicity and Paul made sure to step away for an evening photo session with their photographer, J Mosley Photography. The photos were worth it! Once back inside, they cut their cake by The Pastry Studio, which also incorporated their navy, white, and silver color palette. Their cake was delicious, and it also served as yet another piece that enhanced their design.
From the couple to the team of wedding professionals who made their vision come alive and of course to the setting of every moment, we loved Felicity and Paul’s celebration!
