It’s time for another Jacksonville Wedding Planner Vendor Spotlight! This week all eyes are on Emily Burton Designs. Emily is a phenomenal a Floral + Event Designer.
I LOVE working with Emily because she is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our clients are happy. She has such an incredible eye for detail and is never afraid to push the envelope to make something extraordinary. She uses only the best materials and florals and never shies away from a challenge!
She shares a bit more about her process and what she wishes more couples knew about her below.
What is something that you wish more people knew about your business? I wish people knew the amount of time, labor and effort that goes into pulling a design together from start to finish and the process that goes behind flowers from receiving them off of the truck or airplane to the table design.
What is your favorite element of the wedding day? Seeing my vision coming together and then seeing the bride smile!
What do you feel makes your company unique from your competitors? We are unique from our competitors because of my background as an Interior Designer first and foremost. It helps me to understand the space layout and on a larger scale how things should look.
What is your favorite color pallet to work with? This is a tough question. I don’t really have a per say favorite. For me its more about textures and how the shapes look when I put them together.
What is a decor item that you’ve never worked with, that you want to? Deer Antlers
How much time do you put into the “average” 125-150 person wedding? Once again this could be a tricky question…it depends on how elaborate their design requests are…however for an average wedding of that size we would put in approximately 35-40 hours. (1 weeks work of work)
